Villa Location:
Uluwatu is located on the south-western tip of Bali in Badung Regency. The House is located about 500 metres to the Ulus steps and across the road from the Gong Surf Shop, Hotel and Local Restaurant. The main Uluwatu beach is a mere 10 minutes stroll from the House or acouple of minutes on our complimentary motor-scooter. Uluwatu beaches are world-renowned for their surf breaks and shuttle buses operate between Kuta and Uluwatu surf locations.

Uluwatu Sightseeing
The Uluwatu Temple, one of Bali’s most spectacular temples set high on a cliff affording sensational views over the Indian Ocean, especially at
sunset, is only a 5 minute drive from the House. The Pura Luhur Temple is a kayangan jagat (directional temple) that guards Bali from evil spirits. Uluwatu Temple is open only to Hindu worshippers although you can visit the rest of the temple complex which is open daily. The temple is famous for its visually spectacular Kecak Dance (monkey dance) performances held in the evenings around sunset (6-7pm) and a resident gang of monkeys. Tickets for the Kecak dance cost Rp50,000 and performances last about an hour.
The main Uluwatu beach is a mere 10 minutes stroll from the House or a
couple of minutes on our complimentary motor-scooter. Uluwatu beaches are world-renowned for their surf breaks and shuttle buses operate between Kuta and Uluwatu surf locations.
There is a 5 star resort called Blue Point where people can pay approx. US$15 for the privilege of spending the day there with lunch and a drink included. Blue Point Bay Spa Resort is right on the Uluwatu cliff top overlooking the famous surf break at Uluwatu and the views and pool are absolutely amazing. They also have a day spa for you to completely indulge yourself. Blue Point is only a 5 minute drive from the accommodation.
